Bioplastic and Paper Machie

by Richard Leclercq

There were paper Machie recipes that used flour, water and linseed oil in addition to paper. The process for the finished pieces included heat and pressure, which sounds like a bio plastic to me.

In Victorian times, furniture was made out of this paper machie. I have not found any of the old recipes but I am interested in the combination of paper and bio plastic for art projects and for making railroad model terrain.
