Prosthetic makeup used to be made of gelatin, which won’t hold up to a day at a convention. Current latex a and silicone creations will last until alien zombies actually conquer earth.
Creating the makeup usually means sculpting out of clay on a mannequin, then making a plaster mold, then making castings.
A material that can be sculpted directly and used several times would be beneficial to the hobbiest. (Sculpted on a mannequin)
