I am wondering how I can make a cellulose-based plastic?
I have already sourced carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC).
I would like to make a relatively solid plastic.
It doesn’t have to be flexible or rubbery.
cellulose CMC plastic
I have the same question as well. I’ve done a bit of research and I’ve learned that a 15-year-old inventor by the name of Amin Hataman has invented a plastic bag made out of Nata de Coco for its cellulose properties. I am not sure what procedure he used or how he did it. I’m still searching around for concrete answers. Hope I helped in any sort of way.
